    The luxury hotel, Het Arresthuis gives the Netherlands a new spectacular accommodation at an historic location: the former Roermond prison.

    In the spring of 2011, a spectacular new accommodation opened its doors on an historic location; the former prison in Roermond. Today, this luxurious hotel is a place where you will happily be locked up. The foundations of the prison, dating from 1863, have been left intact, giving the hotel its characteristic atmosphere. In Het Arresthuis you will surely be pampered to the fullest.

    Facilities

    Het Arresthuis has converted the 105 former prison cells into 36 spacious guest rooms and 4 luxurious suites. All rooms have contemporary design and are furnished with your comfort in mind. In the courtyard you can unwind on the lovely terrace. Here, or in the restaurant, you can enjoy some of the exclusive dishes that our chefs prepare. Completely relax or stay in shape in the sauna and fitness centre. There are no bounds to your luxury whilst staying in Het Arresthuis.

    Het Arresthuis lies directly in the centre of Roermond, just minutes away from the central station, making access by public transport very convenient. In addition, the hotel is also easily reached by car. Düsseldorf International Airport is only 60 km away from the city of Roermond.
