Facilities

Van der Valk Hotel Arnhem features 100 guest rooms divided into 7 categories, including comfort rooms, business rooms and junior suites. In addition to standard facilities, all rooms are equipped with a comfortable work desk, a bathroom with separate bath and shower and a balcony or terrace. All hotel guests have complimentary use of the fitness and wellness facilities, such as treadmill, cross-trainer, sauna, steam room, foot baths and the comfortable lounge beds by the fireplace. Location & Accessibility

Hotel Arnhem lies on the fringe of nature reserve “Park de Hoge Veluwe”, by the entrance to the national sports centre “Papendal” and just off the highways A12 and A50. By public transport you can easily reach Hotel Arnhem by bus from Arnhem central station in just 13 minutes.

Van der Valk Hotel Barcarola offers you three cozy restaurants, each with its own character. In the restaurant Las Dunas, we serve a true Valk menu along with Spanish classics such as a delicious paella. The restaurant features a colorful and atmospheric terrace as well as a comfortable indoor area. La Casita is our cozy Spanish terrace by the pool. The third bar-restaurant is called Tucan Beach and is located by the beach.

You will find a restaurant with excellent cuisine, a cozy bar and 102 comfortable hotel rooms, including 1 suite and family room. In addition, the hotel has its own (free) parking lot, you will find a bus stop right next to the hotel and you can rent (electric) bicycles, with which you can explore the surroundings at your leisure. You can also recharge your electric car or bike on site if you are having lunch, for example.

Utrecht and surroundings

The hotel is located, in the Utrechtse Heuvelrug region, right next to the Houderingse woods. This beautiful wooded area, where you will find the most beautiful country houses, begins right behind the hotel. The hotel is easy to reach due to its proximity to several highways, including the A28 and A2.

The hotel, which has 225 comfortable hotel rooms, is strategically located, only 5 minutes from the A4, A12 and A13 and right on the N44. Parking is free. And also by public transport, with a bus stop just 150 m away, the hotel is easily accessible. If you want to explore the environment in the open air, you can rent an (electric) bike on site.
