Animal park ‘Dierenrijk’ is known as the children’s zoo and is located in Nuenen near Eindhoven. You will see big and small elephants, seals and polar bears.
Elephants and shows
Every day the animal keepers give an unique and instructive show with different animal species. Be surprised by the rousing seals show with flying sea eagles. Nowhere else gives you the possibility to watch, from close by, an elephant training. The mascot Pic shows you around ‘Dierenrijk’ during the pleasant and instructive animals show. You will meet all kinds of animals that you otherwise wouldn’t see or touch. Would you like to test your knowledge at the end of the day? Join the ‘who knows’ quiz. The winners may help in the conduct of the Barbary macaques.
In addition to the many outdoor playground you’ll find an indoor playground as well, Pico’s play palace. ‘Dierenrijk’ is open daily from 10am until 5pm and organizes regular theme events
