Experience a day out in filmpark Babelsberg

Filmpark Babelsberg is interesting for a real movie fan. The park has been around for 100 years and has 16 large film studios where films were filmed such as ‘the Blue Angel’ with Marlene Dietrich, ‘Valkyrie’ with Tom Cruz and ‘Around the world in 80 days’. You can get a tour of legendary scenes and you will gain insight into the illusion of film.

Sets and props

Filmpark Babelsberg is located just outside of Berlin. You will learn all about the film industry, life behind the scenes and the making of sets. Stunt men, pyrotechnic operators and trainers of animal actors show their skills in spectacular shows. You can even go to Studio 1 and participate in your own television show as weatherman or stand-in. You can make a tour in the park and in building where clothing and props are kept. The park is also suitable for young visitors, there is a lot to do with such as the with house from ‘Hansel and Gretel’ and the jungle playground.

Operational hours

The park is open from April 12th to November 2nd. The park is open daily from 10:00 to 18:00. The park is closed on Mondays in May and on Mondays and Tuesday in September. The park is also closed on October 6th and 13th. Check out the website and find out the current operational hours.
